Gamalang have a fresh sweetness to them, but their tartness undertone makes their sweetness subtler than a strawberry. They also have a floral / rose note which helps tone down the sweetness and surprise you with a popping sensation when you eat them, making the sweet-tart–rose combination warp into one complex flavour… which is delicious!
