This wooden brush is made for scrubbing potatoes, carrots and other root vegetables, using natural coconut fibre bristles that lift dirt without damaging the skin. The handle is crafted from teak wood, which is more water-resistant than bamboo. The bristles are naturally antibacterial, helping to prevent mould and odours with regular use and drying.
Handcrafted by a women-led artisan community using upcycled and sustainable materials. Designed in Australia.
Care instructions: Hang with bristles facing down to dry. Keep in a well-ventilated space. Trim bristle tips as needed.

Kayu stands for wood and Co. stands for community. At Kayu & Co, they believe in community and social impact. Their goal is to uplift the remote artisans’ community who are handcrafting natural products as means to preserve their culture and nature. However, they cannot sustain their livelihood by only selling locally in their villages. Thus, their mission is to let the world appreciate and purchase these beautiful artisan products from remote areas of the globe.
Their beautiful products are made with waste wood and coconut fibre that would otherwise end up in landfill or burnt in the powerhouse. The are sustainable (100% compostable with long lifespan) and ethical (handmade in remote villages and not in factories, fair trade and transparent supply chain).
